Introducing Maria Wade
Coming from an Irish background, she was brought up with Irish folk music and country music. She has been inspired by great artists such as Dolly Parton & Elvis Presley from a young age. She has always loved country music in particular, "I love the stories the songs tell". No matter how you are feeling, there is always someone who has written a country song who makes you believe they know exactly what you are going through. It has always been a dream of hers to write my own songs with my own stories.

Song of Severndroog
The song is written about Severndroog Castle in Eltham which was built by Lady James as a memorial to her husband, Willam James. A huge thanks to the committee at www.severndroogcastle.org.uk for asking me to write this song
